comfortable and effective Review of Carolyn Mayo, DACM LAc I recently visited Mayo Acupuncture Clinic in Oakland and I was very happy not only with the results but with the professionalism of Carolyn Mayo.  She treated me for my shoulder/rotater cup and I must say I felt better right away after the acupunture and treatment.  The office is very clean and comfortable and Carolyn is very thorough and I felt she took extra time just to ensure that I felt better.  She even treats for sinus problems and any aches and pains that you may have!  I am definitely going back to her next week and I highly recommend her service.  You will not be disappointed.

Attentive Care, Incredible Results, fair pricing Review of Carolyn Mayo, DACM LAc Carolyn did a combination treatment of hot cups for my lower back pain and acupuncture for some other issues. She has a very intuitive touch and at the end of the appointment I was floating on a cloud. Slept for 9 hours straight when I got home and woke up feeling brand new! Highly recommended.

knowledgeable and caring Review of Carolyn Mayo, DACM LAc I became curious about acupuncture after hearing about the many benefits people have experienced.  I've had two sessions w/ Carolyn now and only have good things to say! She is knowledgeable and caring, listens to my concerns, and explains what she is doing. She answers my many questions without missing a beat. I appreciate her holistic approach and focus on the details throughout our session. I, historically, am not a big fan of needles and Carolyn is mindful of this, kindly offering me an eye pillow when I'm face up. I highly recommend her, especially if you're new to acupuncture and are looking for someone who will empower you with information, while also performing a great treatment.

Review of Carolyn Mayo, DACM LAc I have had sciatica for about 7 months and despite physical therapy and religiously doing back exercises, I was still in pain and needing medication for relief.  I have never had acupuncture before and wasn't sure that it could help but was willing to try.  I have had seven sessions with Carolyn, and while I would love to say that I am totally cured, I can say I am 90% better!  I haven't needed medication for several weeks, and while I still have some discomfort when I get up, after I do my exercises I am pain free!  I am very grateful to Carolyn and her course of treatment.  I also appreciate her guidance about what exercises I might try.

She is truly one of the best and really helped my chronic headaches and pain tremendously. She is super empathetic and caring and always has suggestions to help with my ailments. excellent practitioner! Review of Carolyn Mayo, DACM LAc Carolyn is an excellent practitioner! I have been seeing her weekly for a whole range of issues including balancing hormones and addressing autoimmune thyroid issues. Between our sessions and the herbs she prescribed, I'm feeling much more energetic every day and able to think clearer too! I highly recommend her for anyone looking for solutions to their own medical phenomena, you will be in great hands! The treatment room is very relaxing...I fall asleep every time :) She also takes insurance! Major points for that!
